Terms of payment and delivery 2022

These terms apply to Talla international webstore www.talla.fi. For ordering, no registration is needed.

Besides Finland, our webstore delivers to Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, Poland, France, Romania, Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Denmark, Hungary, Estonia. Now also to Great Britain and USA.

For ordering, you must be over 18 years of age. After placing an order you will receive an order confirmation to your email. Our webstore delivers products to consumers only. In case you are a business owner or purchase manager interested in retailing our collection, please contact sales(a)talla.fi.

Please note that colours of products may differ due to differences in screens and devices.

For international orders we accept Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club and PayPal. Our partner in secure online card payments is Finland-based Paytrail, who acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a payment service provider. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant (Talla).

Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution providing netbank-related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumer the service works exactly the same way as traditional web payments. Paytrail is registered in the Finnish trade register under 2122839-7,  VAT FI21228397.

Prices & shipping cost

Our prices are in euros and include Finnish tax (VAT) 24%, except Great Britain and USA (VAT) 0%. International customers are responsible for any additional costs eg. customs and taxes. We use Finland's postal service, Posti, for domestic and international shipping. Delivery cost to EU countries is 12,90 euros per order, delivery cost to Great Britain and USA  38,00 euros per order. 

Delivery time

We process all orders within 2 business days. You will receive an order confirmation by email with an estimated delivery time after placing an order. You will also receive a tracking code for your order, please go to http://www.posti.fi/private/postisservices/tools/itemtracking/ to track your Talla package.

Posti delivers packages in Finland within 2-7 business days and internationally 7-14 days (EU) depending on the destination. In case there are delays at Talla factory in processing orders, we will always notify our customer immediately by email. 

We manufacture all shoes by hand according to each order, we do not keep large stock.

Return & refund

We recommend that you carefully retain the order confirmation email sent to you by Talla.

For all products ordered from Talla webstore you have a right of return and refund during a period of 14 days from delivery date. Please contact our customer service by email and include all relevant info and order number in the email. We will process your request within 7 working days and get back to you by email. We will proceed with the refund of the price, including the shipping cost, which you will receive within 14 days from the date of the returned products have arrived to our factory. These terms apply also if you have purchased using PayPal.

Please note that prior to returning any products, you need our further instructions by email. The sender is responsible for the product until it reaches our factory in Myrskylä, Finland.

The products that have been tailored to customer needs are not returnable unless defective during transportation.

All returned products must be packed in their original box, be unused and in sellable condition. Talla makes refunds only if the above criteria is followed by the customer.

Returns of defective products

Sorry, if you have for some reason received a defective product from Talla.

In case the products shipped to you were damaged in transportation or are otherwise defective, please contact our customer service by email at sales(a)talla.fi. We recommend our customers to check the package always at arrival, and send us a reclamation immediately if necessary, including a couple of photos. There are two choices: to replace the products or get a refund, including the shipping cost. In case of replacement, the original items will be replaced by identical new ones, which will be shipped to the original delivery address. Replacements are possible if we have the items in stock/production, otherwise you will receive a refund. The sender is responsible for the product until it reaches our factory in Myrskylä, Finland.

Customer personal data is only used for processing our orders and marketing purposes eg. Talla email newsletter, which can be unsubscribed by the customer anytime. We do not sell any information to third parties. 

Changes in terms

We reserve the right to change Talla webstore prices, content and terms any time.

Force majeure

Terms of force majeure apply to Talla webstore orders if the delay or failure in delivery times is caused by circumstances beyond our control. In that case, we will notify the customer by email.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
